
Gazuero is a Colombian artist who works with both painting and sculpture. As a young adult, he studied classical drawing under the esteemed painter Gaston Lemaitre at the school Escuela de Bellas Artes in his hometown of Cartagena, Colombia.
At the age of 29, Garzuero left his home to explore the world and broaden his horizons. He traveled extensively throughout Southern Europe and the Mediterranean islands, where he was self-taught in the abstract art form. During this time, he produced hundreds of sketches to capture and reinterpret the impressions and emotions evoked by his journey.
After several years of travels he settled in Sweden, where he continued his artistic education at the renowned Gerlesborgsskolan. There, he studied under the guidance of several respected Swedish guest lecturers and artists, including Arne Isacsson, Per Lilienberg, Lasse Andreasson, and Kelvin Sommer.
During his time at Gerlesborgsskolan, Garzuero further refined his skills as both a painter and sculptor. Since then, he has held several successful exhibitions throughout Sweden.
